Trooper Cameron Rhodanos of the Darkingshore Police Department
Trooper
Rhodanos was the son of one of the PD’s founders, a man who devoted his life to
two things: cars and freedom. He believed in justice and had raised his son to
always stand for a cause and never step back. His example was ultimately sealed
by his sacrifice when he died in the line of duty during a car chase. Trooper
Rhodanos never forgot his Father’s words knowing that being a Police officer
wasn’t a job: it was a calling.
That late Spring afternoon, or Primavera as they called it in Italian, Trooper
Rhodanos had just escaped his Father’s fate when three hoons in a modified
motor-vehicle went after him with the intention of killing him. His radio was having
issues after the dispatch office had been attacked, so he had no way to know
updates from his colleagues around the province. The chase had led him to the
border with the Nowhere Land, the way it was called the now deserted territory
that once was a flourishing nation. After a long fight using their cars as
weapons, the hoons had crashed against the guardrail and rolled over a dozen
times. Their speed was above 100 mph and the accident was fatal, leaving no
survivors.
The Trooper found himself alone, 30 miles away
from the MPC headquarters and with only a half tank of petrol left to cruise. He
ran to the forest, conscious of still being in danger, and turned off the
engine in the hope of receiving good news from his colleagues.
-Dear God, please, take care of them!
